    Superb

My Travelodge motel room was very clean and the staff was very friendly!

There are two key items that I found to be general detractors from this motel and those are suitable parking is needed for large trucks (oilfield service related vehicles) and the metal stairways going to the second level present significant liability issues especially during the winter months or when wet.

    Good

clean. comfortable room and friendly staff

strange location, seemed to be in an industrial estate, lots of work vehicles everywhere.

Convenient for a quick visit to Drumheller. Good location.

Old style motel. People walking back and forth outside bedroom window talking loudly.

    Very good

The location was good for getting to the Royal Tyrrell Museum, closer than the downtown hotels.

The room was a bit cramped for 2 adults, 2 children. Parking filled up very quickly. A kitchenette would have been better for us. The beds were oddly noisy to sleep on.

a little pricey for the accomodations you have

We were in Drumheller for the annual Passion Play, so hotels were full. We were very grateful that it was quiet, both from traffic noise and from fellow hotel patrons. We had a good night's sleep. We were also grateful for the use of a microwave and to have a small frig, and coffee maker in the room as there wasn't a restaurant or breakfast in the lodge.

We had a very difficult time with the door of the room, but informed the front desk that it needed maintenance.

    Quiet

I checked in before 3 pm and was told to come back after 3 pm for key. I returned at 9:30 and was in a long wait with only one person before me waiting also. The one person at the desk had too much to do answering phone numerous times and dealing with his very complicated situation - he had debit card only.

Way overpriced at $156! No Wyfi Parking area very dirty so didn't want to set out bags on the pavement. This and another recent experience with your lodges has made me decide to not go to Travelodge again. Tonite we are at a Hawthorn for $99 with pool, hot tub, breakfast, huge room, and all the amendities.

    Superb

Closed to the Visitor Center and Recreation Center, access to main road and nice stroller ride around town, don`t have to use the car. View of the biggest dinosaur in Alberta (walking distance).

    Good

    Close to the Museum.

When I booked with Booked.net, I was advised we were booking the last available room - a blatant lie!! In fact, we were one of only 5 occupied rooms at the Travelodge. We upgraded to a King Suite, which we thought they would not charge us for, and we were charged almost 60 dollars more for the room. Not good!! I feel deceived and want my money back. We travel often and like Travelodge, however this is unsatisfactory.

The location of the hotel was good as it was close to restaurants and also close to the downtown however not too close.

The place was roomy and clean, served our purpose very well.

  • 8.2
    Fabulous

View!!! Right outside our window was the Red Deer River, and across from that the world's largest dinosaur glaring at us.

The pipes. If someone else in the hotel doesn't turn the taps on all the way, the pipes whistle horribly. Woke me up.
